This sample of Callaghanite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Callaghanite is a carbonate mineral which contains copper and magnesium with the composition Cu₂Mg₂CO₃(OH)₆.2H₂O. This sample is about 18x10 cm and is from Brucite quarry, Gabbs, Nevada.
